Production Manager

Rock Solid Landscape is a full-service lawn and landscape company based in NW Ohio. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day field operations across Rock Solid Landscape’s service departments, including Lawn Maintenance, Landscaping, Enhancements, and Snow Services. This role ensures production goals are met through efficient scheduling, effective leadership, equipment management, and quality control. The Production Manager works closely with Account Managers and Crew Leaders to drive operational success, employee performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and performance across all production teams
• Manage crew scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
• Supervise and support Crew Leaders and Foremen in the field; conduct routine job site visits
• Maintain production standards, ensuring jobs are completed on time and within scope
• Ensure crews follow proper procedures for safety, quality, and efficiency
• Lead training and development for crew members and foremen; identify leadership potential
• Conduct regular quality control inspections across job types and departments
• Collaborate with Account Managers to align field execution with customer expectations
• Maintain operational equipment, vehicles, and tool inventory; ensure proper use and care
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of field personnel
• Monitor job costs and productivity metrics; identify and implement improvements
• Work hands-on in the field during high-volume periods, training needs, or staffing gaps
• Communicate clearly and consistently with leadership team and production staff
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in landscape, construction, or operations management
• Proven leadership experience across multiple service teams or departments
• Strong understanding of equipment, scheduling, production planning, and quality control
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead teams
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with tablets, apps, and scheduling software
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; must pass drug/alcohol screening if required
• Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extended hours during peak seasons
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
