Here Is What You’ll Do.
• Financial Management - Responsible for ensuring the jobs/projects managed by you are performed within the estimated gross margins and completed upon the expected job completion date per the schedule. Forecasting Revenue based off the progress of the job, as well as ensuring that the billing is always in alignment to the customer.
• Job Site Management- Quality initiatives, skills development, weekly and monthly scheduling of all Design Build personnel and communication. Responsible for ensuring all job sites are kept neat, orderly, and safe always. Effectively managing job hour performance for all jobs and oversight of material usage to ensure proper job costing is being allocated and managed.
• Operational Systems Development and Management- Overall responsibility of managing the Project Management process for each job entering and in the production phase. Continuous improvements and process development for the department to ensure we are meeting customer expectations and overall division margins.
• Vehicle, Equipment, and Tools/Supplies- Collaboration with field Management of the proper fleet necessities, condition of each to ensure our brand is being protected and defining our needs as we continue to grow.
• Purchasing – Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Negotiate pricing to ensure we meet and improve upon gross margins for the division.
• Contract Management – Ensure contracts are installed/fulfilled as written with any changes documented. Execute and track change orders.
• Culture Building - Responsible for team morale. Monitor staff needs. Enthusiastically lead the team to achieve the divisional goals. Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promote the company culture.
• Personnel - Manage necessary documentation such as timesheets, job folders, work orders, accident reports and others as needed. Approve and schedule days off with all Design Build production personnel.
• Communication - “Go to” for questions and problems related to projects, division, other employees, and customers. Provide guidance and resources to the team to help deliver quality service to the customer.
• Level 10 Meeting Expectations- Meeting is held weekly with the Project Managers, Coordinators, and Project Directors. This individual will be held accountable to their quarterly, monthly, and weekly objectives every week at the same time and location.
• Exscape Designs Vision and Culture- Adheres to and promotes our Vision, Core Values and Core Focus. Must be willing to increase professional development by staying abreast of industry trends, technological changes and by obtaining advanced certifications. Be involved in at least one outside community organization with active participation.
• Snow Operations - Participate on the Snow Operations team which could include snow plan developments, area management during snow events, back-up snow operator, and ensuring our quality standards are performed for our contracts. Snow Operation responsibilities could include time worked outside of normal working hours.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Construction Management, Business Management or the equivalent from an accredited four-year College or university; and 5+ years of experience in a small business setting or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess experience within the Landscape or Construction Industry.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics. Microsoft Project & ASPIRE Landscape (or similar ERP system) experience a plus.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business Management a Plus
• Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) a Plus
• PMP, PMI, CAPM, CSM Certification a Plus
• Landscape Industry Certified Management a Plus
